Winchester “go to guy”
Jason Wagner is a guy that enjoys coming to work every day. As he says, “How can you not enjoy a job that is environmentally responsible and is growing in relevance?”
Jason has been with Tomlinsons for ten years, the last four years at Springhill. This fall he really showed his love and commitment to the job when he worked seven days a week, for seven straight weeks to setup the new C&D recycling plant. “The plant was shut down so there was pressure to get it up and running. The C&D material just kept coming in and piling up.” However, Jason is not just a hard worker on the job; he is also an avid community volunteer.
As a life long resident of the Winchester area, Jason is well known in the community as a volunteer with the Winchester Junior B Hawks. Eight years ago a friend of his approached him with a plea to help the struggling hockey club. The team was losing money and was at risk of folding. Jason assumed the role of President and launched an aggressive fundraising program.
Today Jason is the “go to guy” for fundraising in the Winchester area. Over the years he has assisted with fundraising for the local curling and figure skating clubs. He has also been active with Dairyfest, having served as vice president for four years.
