A strategic plan to continue growth within our specialty of operations lead us to the purchase of Cumberland Ready Mix. Cumberland is the largest independent non-union ready mix operation in Ontario. The owners Luc and Robert Brazeau grew up in the business and took over from their father. It is a family atmosphere that reflects everything Tomlinson is. The Pride and commitment every employee has for the operation makes the acquisition a perfect fit. All employees are staying with the company. Luc and Robert have become part of the Tomlinson management team. We have also began investing in upgrading the fleet and plants to meet new market demands created through the acquisition.
