The 2009 Tomlinson Family Picnic was once again a tremendous success. There were activities for all ages, such as a mad scientist with some neat experiments, petting zoo with chickens and goats, a clown making balloon animals, and some air brush face painting. A number of popular activities from previous years were also back such as airbounce, kayaks on the pond, and pony rides.
Pie eating contest Each child got a neat prize as well. There were also some great door prizes this year, along with a jellybean counting contest.
New this year was a tug of war contest with the divisions. TES ended up winning, with Cumberland Ready Mix coming in second. Another popular event was a pie eating contest with children and adults. There was plenty of participation in this activity. The fastest time went to John Van Bridger from TES at 46 seconds.
Building on this year's success, the team is already working on some new and exciting ideas for next year.
