On May 2nd, 1st Osgoode Scouting planted 150 trees/seedlings on the berm facing Bank Street (Highway 31) at the Springhill Landfill Site.

Approximately 25 scouts, assisted by their parents as well as area MPP Lisa McLeod and Ottawa Councillor Doug Thompson, spent from 10:00 to noon one Saturday greening Springhill.

Following all their hard work they settled down for an on-site picnic.
